After Results, it’s Admission Time: Pass this test too.

May 30, 2008 By: Arti Category: D.U. Admissions 2008 No Comments →

Results for class XII have been announced, successful students are elated while unsuccessful ones are ruing over their fate. Those who have passed the exam are now mulling over the prospect of admissions in premier colleges for higher education in favorite stream.
At this juncture, I remember my own time when I was rushing from one college to another to fill up the forms and to submit them. I was trying to grab a seat for English Honors in Delhi University. I was not included in two cut-off lists but luckily my name appeared in the third cut-off list. I was ecstatic.
But until my name was there in the list, I was listless. Future seemed to be hanging in the dark and all the zest and vivacity was vanishing. Ultimately, when i saw my name in the list, I started dancing, literally.
My advice to the students who are going to get some shivers after the announcement of first cut-off list is that there is no need to panic until the last list. Enjoy even if u r not in second list.

This is a response to the query posted by Raghav:

I can not find any authenticity of BHARTIYA SHIKSHA PARISHAD U.P. from any concerned sources, It is not neither in the list of UP Higher Education Department http://uphed.up.nic.in/default.htm nor in the Distance Education Council,Govt of India(http://www.dec.ac.in/index.htm).
You can also inquire from the UP Higher Education Department on the phone numbers given in this link: http://uphed.up.nic.in/contact.htm

However, Bundelkhand University is completely genuine.

May 23, 2008 By: rajneesh Category: Notice Board No Comments →

Class XII results for Delhi, Guwahati and Allahabad regions have been announced today morning (23rd May) at 08:00 AM. While for Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula regions results were announced day before yesterday on 21st May. Results accessible on
http://www.cbseresults.nic.in
http://www.indiaedu.com/cbse/index.html

CBSE maintains a good record of itself in announcing the result on time.
So, Congratulations to all the successful students!! You all must be having a blast by this time and there must be jubilations all around. All the hard work and toil you put throughout the year must have paid off. There might be some salty moments too such as, how could there be so low marks in physics; oh, missed the distinction marks; just few marks than the topper; or I wish i had studied little more for this subject etc.

Some of you must have started thinking about the cut-off marks for the honors subjects of your choice. Delhi University has already issued the admission notification for the session 2008-09 see the link:
http://du.ac.in/admissions/2008/ug/ug08/index.html

Actually Class XII results, in our education system, are most important result for lifetime. Almost whole higher education, career course and social perception are erected on the base of Class XII results. Therefore, Congratulations again for those who bagged the success with flying colors.

Unsuccessful students need not get disappointed, work extremely hard this year and fetch the marks that surpass all the preceding records. Remember, only hard work can take you to the places where success is ready to embrace you.

Education and Emancipation

May 05, 2008 By: Gokul Bhagabati Category: Purpose of Education No Comments →

Education can play a very important role in emanciapation of the downtrodden on this earth. But for that to happen, we need to make it availbale to all. And once good education becomes readily available, inequalities will automatically fade away.
