BITS Admission Test 2010

BITSAT 2010 is conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences India for admission to Integrated First Degree Programs. The integrated First degree Programs include various programs like B. Pharm (Hons), Msc. (Tech), BE. (Hons) and MSc (Hons) degrees.

 

Students appearing for the 12th standard are eligible to take admission in Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences. Candidates willing to enroll in B.E. (Hons) courses should secure at least 80 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Moreover, the students should get minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates who have passed 10+2 exam in 2008 or earlier are not permitted to apply in this institute. The candidates are selected on the basis of their overall performance in the entrance test. Proficiency in English is a must.

 

The application procedure is easy. The aspiring candidates can download the online form from the official website (www.bitsadmission.com/BITSAT). The students have to fill the application forms and send it to the Admissions Officer, BITS Pilani-333 031.

 

The last date for Applying for BITSAT, 2010 is 3rd week of December, 2009 and the dully filled application form should be send within Last week of January, 2010. 2010, BITS Online tests is expected to be held within May 2nd week to June 2nd week.

NIFT Entrance Exam, 2010

NIFT or The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts entrance test for admission to Bachelor and Master programs in Fashion Design, Leather Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design, Communication Design, Fashion Management and Apparel Production.

 

The admission selection procedure may vary from one course to another. Applicants with a pass certificate in higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or any equivalent exam from any recognized Central or State Board of Secondary Examination are eligible to apply in NIFT.  To pursue bachelor degree in Apparel Production the student has to pass the 10+2 exam with subjects like Physics, Chemistry or Math. Students willing to take admission in the Master program in Design Space must be a graduate from a recognized Central or State Board.  

 

Admission to the different courses of NIFT is purely done on the basis of merit. The students have to take the written test, GD and Interviews to get selected.  The application form for NIFT Admission test can be collected from the selected branches of AXIS BANK. You can also get the application from the selected NIFT campuses.

 

NIFT Entrance test is generally held in important cities like New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Raebareli.

 

The application form for 2010 NIFT entrance test will be available from November 3rd week to December end, 2009. The written NIFT Entrance Exam, 2010 will be held on 2nd week of February, 2010. It is expected that the Situation Test, GD, Interviews will be conducted during April to May, 2010.

Want to become a commercial pilot?  The job of a commercial pilot is exciting as well as rewarding. To become a pilot in India, the candidate must have a Student Pilot License. Students who passed 10+2 with science can register oneself with any of the recognized flying club. After successful completion of the training followed by an oral examination, you will get the SPL certificate.
