The Madras IIT has started a new trend of providing a chance of two groups to meet at the Alumni Association that gives a great chance of the pass outs of the Institute to interact and share views about the career opportunities and present career scenario. The Association which is better known as IITMAA will surely make the ex students feel more nostalgic about their beloved Institution. I think the IIT pass outs do not look out for jobs but create them. Keeping that in mind I think the Alumni Association that Madras IIT students have created is a center where great thoughts will be cultivated as far as job prospects are concerned.

 The best part of this Alumni Association is the fact that the new and emerging professionals will be highly influenced and inspired by the useful advices and tips from the pass outs. The key factor about the IIT students that makes them stand out of the students of the other Institutes is the fact that they create opportunities and don’t wait for one. In the 2009 Alumni Association of the Madras IIT (Adieu-09), the ex students came up with the thought that this current scenario of economic slowdown is the best time to display one;s talent and potential for the IITians.
