Career as a pilot

Want to become a commercial pilot?  The job of a commercial pilot is exciting as well as rewarding. To become a pilot in India, the candidate must have a Student Pilot License. Students who passed 10+2 with science can register oneself with any of the recognized flying club. After successful completion of the training followed by an oral examination, you will get the SPL certificate.

 

To become a pilot one also need a Private Pilot License. You will get this license only after you complete sixty hours of flying. One will get Commercial Pilots License only after the candidate complete 250 hours of flying including 60 hours for the PPL.

 

 The job prospect for a pilot is vast.  One can seek employment in government aviation industry like Indian Airlines or Air India or work for any private airlines like Jet Airways and Kingfisher. Even there are some big corporate houses that recruit pilots for their private aircraft. Pilots draw attractive salaries. They are entitled to get other remuneration and incentives like gratuity; out- station allowances medical facilities and provident fund. Commercial pilots get a salary of approx Rs 40,000 to Rs 150,000 per month.

 

There are several flying institutes under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation that imparts training to the aspiring pilots. Jobs for the architects are high in demand.  An architect has to deal with the designing, planning and supervision of the construction work of buildings, houses and skyscrapers. Chef enjoys a lucrative career. Chef prepares food in a hotel, restaurant and fast food center. The main job profile of Chefs includes preparing menus, cooking, overseeing preparation, ordering foodstuff as well as supervising the kitchen staff.

Pharmaceutical study is fast becoming one of the most promising modes of study. Previously, pharmacy graduates used to work in manufacturing unit of drug companies.
