CAT 2008 gets tougher!

Guess what? The depression and slowdown in the US economy has caused a significant impact on the mindset of young job-seekers in India. With the remarkable rise in the number of applications for CAT 2008, it seems that Indian youth are largely banking on a Management degree to make a career in otherwise dismal job market. While only 2.3 lakh applications were received for CAT 2007, 3 lakh is the figure for 2008. So, you can well imagine how competitive the test will be, next time.
However, the only light of hope for the MBA aspirants is that there has been an increase in the number of seats in the IIMs. And many good Business Schools in India also accept CAT score for admission to MBA courses.
So just focus and study harder! You can surely pull it through!
