Scholarship for summer Language programs 2009!

Great news for those interested to study in Summer Language institutes abroad!!!
The Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC) and the United States Department of State invite applications for overseas scholarships from candidates willing to study summer programs in 11 foreign languages in 2009. Apart from candidates from India, those from Bangladesh, Jordan, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Oman, China, Tunisia, Russia, Tajikistan, Egypt and Morocco can also apply as the languages of study are used in these regions.

This training will be delivered in 7 to 10 weeks to candidates in groups and feature language instruction at beginner (excluding for Azerbaijani, Russian, Chinese or Persian languages), intermediate and advanced levels. ALTEN scholarships for MS in France

In coordination with the French Embassy, ALTEN, a European research and advanced engineering group invites application from 25 meritorious Engineering students for scholarships to study post-graduate courses in France.

The scholarship amount is 30,000 Euro for each student willing to pursue 2 year MS program in 2009-11. You can visit www.nplusi.com to download the application form for the scholarship. Candidates need not know French while applying for the scholarship. They will also not have to appear for any tests like GMAT or GRE. The selection procedure will be based on merit, the statement of purpose, recommendation letters and an interview.

Scholarships by HINDU & HITACHI

THE HINDU will be awarding scholarships to meritorious students for technical training in 2009. This scholarship will be awarded jointly with Hitachi Ltd., Tokyo in Japan to 3 Indian citizens who have a minimum degree of B.E. or B.Sc. (Engineering.). If you have relevant work experince, you will be surely given preference over others. The scholarship will be valid in Japan for 6 months and will be applicable for trainings in fields like Information & Telecommunication System, Digital Media Products and Power & Industrial System.
However, this training will not be offered in research and development areas of Hitachi. The selected candidates will be given expenses for air passage, boarding and lodging in Japan. The application forms for these scholarships can be collected from the Hindu offices in various regions of India.

Scholarship for Cultural Studies to Orissa students

The artists of Orissa will be given assistance by this center and scholarship to meritorious students willing to undertake cultural studies. IIREIF offers Immaculate Scholarship!

International Institute of Real Estate, Investment & Finance (IIREIF), the pioneer of Real Estate education in India is introducing Immaculate Scholarship scheme for deserving students who aspire to pursue a career in Real Estate industry. Candidates who study in the Karol Bagh campus of IIREIF are eligible for this scholarships.

Students will have to appear in a test and an interview apart from showing their Class 12 marks to prove their mettle. A maximum of 50% waiver on the fees can be granted to a student. NTPC scholarships 2008

NTPC invites application from the meritorious students of Schedule Tribe, Physically Challenged or Schedule Caste categories for scholarships to study Engineering courses at degree level. The Engineering courses eligible for the NTPC scholarships are Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Telecommunication or Computer Science. The applicants also should not receive any financial grant from any other means.
